Business owners retain the right to set their own, more stringent policies related to COVID-19.

The Alabama Board of Cosmetology and Barbering does not have the authority to impose mandates on our licensees related to COVID-19; therefore, no additional requirements will be imposed by our board.

Governor Ivey has released signage for business owners to encourage employees and patrons to wear a mask to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
